Virtual Preschool Curriculum

Two Friends with a Tablet

What makes pre-school fun? What makes a child want to learn? It is a virtual program like ours. Our encouraging and enriching program focuses on all aspects of creative learning. Hands on and virtual activities encompass exciting monthly themes which include nutrition, cooking, holidays, dinosaurs and safety, to name just a few.

Preschooler rotate to a variety of learning subjects to help stimulate young imaginative minds. Literacy is introduced with the letter of the week, creative writing and circle time readings. Calendar time introduces them to the days of the week and the months of the year. Patterns, graphing, simple math and science activities are included in the weekly program.

Arts and Crafts, music and movement times are a favorite part of each session. The children’s art can proudly be displayed in your home Fine motor skills are used daily as they participate in themed projects. Their individuality is appreciated and their achievements are applauded.

Positive discipline methods are used so the children do not feel singled out or embarrassed. Preparing these young minds for kindergarten is a primary goal of the teachers as they encourage verbal skills, teach self-help skills and promote self-assurance.

How it Works

Lizzy E School for Exceptional Learners seeks to support a child's learning experience by offering parents/caregivers an option to choose service delivery methods. What does this mean? This means that we can shape your child's academic development through a curriculum designed by our staff; or parents/caregivers can elect to allow our educators to provide their child with support for a curriculum/activities provided by their school or learning facility. Parents are asked to provide the preferred delivery method at enrollment. Parents can elect to change delivery method during their child's enrollment.

The learning experience is conducted by an actual individual via virtual platform (Zoom). The learning experience typically lasts for up to 2.5 hours per session. Parents are encouraged to participate in initial sessions, however it is not required if the child is able to learn independently. Parents are able to schedule as many sessions/hours per week as desired, up to five days per week. Pre- and Post- assessments are conducted to determine the effectiveness of our services.

Getting Started

  1. To begin your child's academic journey, parents must enroll their child by clicking the link. ENROLL

  2. After completing the enrollment form, an administrator from LESEL will give you a welcome call to provide you with additional information such as: your child's teacher, schedule of services, virtual platform information and etc.

  3. After your welcome call from administration, you should expect a call from your child's teacher within 24-48 hours.

Cost

The cost for each session hour is $25. Upon enrollment, you will be prompted to pay for the initial session hour. Your child's service will not begin until the initial payment is collected.

  • Payments: Payment for services will be debited through our adopted education support app/website BrightWheel. Debits will be an automatic withdrawal from the payment source of your choice. The site offers the option of credit card, debit card, or  Bank Account Transfers (ACH).

    • At the end of the first week of class, you will receive an invoice via email. Once you click to pay that first invoice, you will be taken to the BrightWheel site and instructed to enter your method of payment. This payment method will then be automatically charged for all of your future weekly program fees.

If for some reason a payment is unable to be processed, either due to insufficient funds or a closed account, you will receive an email notification alerting you to the issue. The balance will then roll over to the next week’s invoice, and when that invoice comes due, the draft will attempt to charge the entire remaining balance, which at this point in time will be two weeks of fees at once if it has not already been taken care of by you prior to this draft.
